Kayak Rentals

We have been running kayak tours to Cathedral Cove since 1999. We know the coastline inside out and we understand the ocean conditions that are unique to this area. Hahei Beach and Cathedral Cove are situated on an exposed stretch of coastline (not like a lagoon, lake or inlet) and as such we do not rent kayaks on their own.

In our professional opinion the best way to explore Cathedral Cove and the Marine Reserve is with one of our friendly team on a guided sea kayak tour.

We use high-quality sea kayaks specifically designed for ocean kayaking. They are modern stable and easy to paddle. We keep our groups small and, wherever possible, match guests with similar abilities. For example, it is common for us to have small groups of experienced kayakers on the same trip. This allows us to tailor a trip that suits the ability of a group, often meaning you further and see more.
