Sea Kayaking Guide – Cathedral Cove Kayaks

Seasonal Position: November – April
Location: Hahei, New Zealand

Do you have a passion for the ocean and strong sea kayaking skills? Join our team at Cathedral Cove Kayaks as a Sea Kayaking Guide for the summer season!

We’re looking for enthusiastic and capable individuals who:

* Have solid kayaking experience, including self-rescues, eskimo rolls, and handling kayaks in a range of wind and swell conditions.

* Ideally hold a sea kayak guiding qualification (preferred but not essential). We provide in-house training and guide assessments to ensure all team members meet our standards.

* Hold a current first aid certificate (essential).

Accommodation can be arranged in our guide flat.  (Please note we do not offer sponsorship)

Reservations – Cathedral Cove Kayaks

Seasonal Position: November – April

We’re looking for someone who’s organised, reliable, and confident working independently to join our team at Cathedral Cove Kayaks.

This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll need to be able to manage tasks efficiently and work well on your own.

The role includes

* Taking bookings and managing customer enquiries (experience with Rezdy a bonus)

* Providing great customer service in person, on the phone, and via email

* Helping out on the beach – assisting with tour setups

* General tasks like cleaning vans, doing dishes, and preparing coffee sets
